I hope you are all enjoying the story of Oliver Twist so far!
Let's review what has happened so far:
- Oliver Twist was born in a workhouse. His mother died soon after he was born.
- Oliver lived in an orphanage until he was nine years old.
- Then he went to work long hours in a workhouse and only ate porridge, onions and bread.
- One day, he said to the master: "Please, sir. I want some more porridge". So, he was put in a dark room.
- Then Mr Bumble took Oliver to Mr Sowerberry's shop. Mr Sowerberry made coffins.
- Oliver started working in Mr Sowerberry's shop. He was very unhappy.
